Pearls Pay-What-You-Can Fundraiser for St Anthony's

On Thursday, December 2 at 8 pm Thrillpeddlers will present a pay-what-you-can performance of Pearls Over Shanghai, The Cockettes Musical.  This gives the PEARLS cast a chance to brush up the show after taking the holiday weekend off, brings you in for what you think you can afford, and benefits the great work of The St. Anthony Foundation.  The house opens at 7:30, though a line may form in advance of that.  Seating is first come, first served.  The Hypnodrome is located at 575 10th Street (between Bryant and Division), San Francisco.  For more information visit www.thrillpeddlers.com or call 415-377-4202.

"St. Anthony Foundation is San Francisco oldest and largest non-profit charity. We serve 3,000 people a day across 8 different programs. Our programs include free medical clinic,  job training / computer program,  free clothing, inpatient drug and alcohol recovery, housing for seniors, social work, and we serve 2,600 meals a day in our Dining Room.  St. Anthony's does not take any money from the archdiocese nor do we take any government money. Because of this our funding comes free of restrictions and we are able to respond needs efficiently and effectively. We've been around for 60 years now -- and have weathered the storms of 9 recessions. We don't just put a band-aid on poverty, we address root causes and advocate for our clients locally and in Sacramento. Our hope is to someday put ourselves out of business by helping to create a society in which all persons flourish."
